Master of Your Domain was a euphemism used in “ The Contest ” for masturbation. It has crept into popular culture, and is used regularly in society. Being 'Master of Your Domain' means that you are able to control your 'urges'. It is a term used by George and Jerry while participating in the Contest. William Ernest Henley, born August 23, 1849, was an influential British poet, perhaps best known for his poem “Invictus” (1875). He is the author of A Song of Speed (D. Nutt, 1903), Hawthorn & Lavender with Other Verses (D. Nutt, 1901), and For England’s Sake: Verses and Songs in Time of War (D. Nutt, 1900), among others.He died in Woking, England, on July 11, 1903.

Seinfeld is my favorite television show ever, and George Costanza is my favorite television character ever. Here are my favorite George moments from this inc.

Although I grew up hearing tales of old-time radio from my parents, for this child born in the mid-1950s, the golden age of radio had already passed by the time I could care.

I knew who Fibber McGee and Molly were, and The Shadow, and had heard the story from my folks about Orson Welles' War of the Worlds Broadcast, but I hadn’t actually heard them.

Well, not until my early teens when I managed to get my hands on a couple of LPs with old radio shows on them. But in the mid-1970s CBS radio began a highly successful revival of the radio drama, called CBS Radio Mystery Theatre.

Created, directed, and produced by Himan Brown, and hosted by E. G. Marshall, starting in 1974 (and running until 1982) CBSRMT produced 1399 45-minute episodes.


For this child born of the TV age, suddenly having an ongoing source of quality radio drama was an unexpected delight.

Not only did it awaken an interest in old radio for for me, when I began collecting OTR (old time radio) shows in earnest in the early 1990s, getting the full collection of CBSRMT shows was high on my list.

The series featured original stories along with retellings of classic works. You’ll find murder, horror, science fiction, and even historical dramas in the mix.

While many performers graced the sound stage over the years, a number of `regulars’ could be heard including Fred Gwynne, Kevin McCarthy, Celeste Holm, Keir Dullea, Mason Adams, Mercedes McCambridge, John Lithgow, and Tony Roberts.

Himan Brown, a genuine legend due to his 65 year career in radio, is reputed to have produced more than 30,000 episodes of radio shows, including: Barrie Craig, Bulldog Drummond, The Inner Sanctum, Dick Tracy, Flash Gordon, along with numerous daytime soap operas.

I’ve recently had the opportunity to check out a website that offers the entire production run of the CBSRMT series along with plot descriptions of each episode.

I am a big fan of Kundalini Yoga. I love the structure of the class: Initial meditation, warm ups, kriya and Final meditation or Mantra Chanting.

And what I love about the kryias is that they combine the asanas to have movement.

I like to hold an asana for a period of time and go within to find my center, but there is also something very special about the movement, after all, everything in life is in constant movement. We are energy beings in constant movement. Earth, the universe, is in constant movement.

This Kundalini Yoga Kryia to Master your Domain is one of my favorites.

I started practicing it about a year ago. From day 1, I started noticing its benefits. Some of them are:

  • I felt more confident in the path I wanted to embark on in terms of my business.
  • I felt more confident in my abilities.
  • I felt more confident when performing a therapy.
  • I felt more focused on the tasks I needed to work on.
  • I felt stronger in my core.
  • I felt myself acting more from my center of power.

I still practice it regularly. Not as often as before, but often enough. When many days have gone by without practicing it, I feel an internal desire to do it… I feel like my body, soul and mind long for it.

Kriya to Master your Domain
Reap the benefits of your hard work as you dwell in your heart center.


To be able to master your domain, you need to act from the center of your being, your power center. Mentally, you’re able to hold a thought, an idea or a project into reality. In the physical body, your blood circulates from your core to all the outlying limbs and glands.

This kriya, gives you command in your mental and physical bodies.

If you follow this kriya with meditation, you will have the spirit of a saint with the fearlessness of a warrior.

1. Double leg Raises

This exercise strengthens the navel center -your power center-. The breathing patterns quickens the effect of the exercise

Lie on your back with the heels together. Keep the lower spine tucked forward, pelvis tiled so that the arch is out of the mid-back. This helps to protect your back muscles from overuse during leg lifts.

Flex the feet so that the toes are pointing toward the head as much as possible.

Breathing pattern: Make a circle of the mouth and begin breath of fire through the open mouth.

As you start the breathing pattern, begin raising and lowering both legs together. Raise them up to a 90 degree angle and back down again, keeping the legs straight and the feet flexed.

Hands are on the sides of your body and on the floor or under the buttocks if you need extra lower spine support.

Continue this movement along with the breath of fire through the mouth for 2 to 5 minutes. Then, inhale and hold your legs up briefly. Slowly, lower your legs to the ground as you exhale.

Rest for 30 seconds breathing long and light.

2. Alternate Leg Raises

This exercise strengthens the navel center -your power center-. The breathing patterns quickens the effect of the exercise

Lie on your back with the heels together. Keep the lower spine tucked forward, pelvis tiled so that the arch is out of the mid-back. This helps to protect your back muscles from overuse during leg lifts.

Flex the feet so that the toes are pointing toward the head as much as possible.

Breathing pattern: Make a circle of the mouth and begin breath of fire through the open mouth.

As you start the breathing pattern, begin to rise and lower one straightened leg at a time up to a 90 degrees angle. Keep your feet flexed.

Repeat for 1 to 2 minutes. Rest for 30 seconds breathing long and light.

3. Extended Cow Pose #1

Kneel on the hands and knees with the back straight and parallel to the floor. The head is back, chin pointing toward the ceiling and spine slightly arched downward.

Using the same breathing pattern as in the previous two exercises, begin to raise and lower alternate legs, extending them as high as possible without twisting the pelvis.

Continue for 2 to 4 minutes. At the end, inhale deeply, stretch up and then relax.

4. Extended Cow Pose #2

Remain in the ending position of Extended Cow Pose #1. The breath and movement are the same. The difference is that you will raise opposite arms and legs at the same time.

First the right leg and left arm extend up and out, then the left leg and right arm.

Keep the eyes slightly open for balance.

Continue for 1 to 2 minutes. At the end, Inhale deeply, stretching and then relax.

Sit quietly on your heels for 30 second and breathe.

Feel and circulate the internal energy.

5. Frog Pose

Stand up with your heels a few inches apart and your feet facing outward, about 6 to 8 inches apart.

Squat down with your hands on the ground in front of you. The arms are between the legs, which are open. Sit up straight.

Ideally the heels remain slightly off the floor as you inhale and straighten your legs, bringing your head down and close to the knees.

Exhale and squat down into the original position.

Continue at your own pace for a count of 15 to 52 frogs. (up-and-down counts as one).

When you finish, inhale, then exhale and relax sitting down.

Stretch the legs out in front of you and shake them for a few seconds.

6. Arm Movements

Seat in easy pose with the navel pulled in and the chest out. Tuck in the chin in slightly to form a straight line from the base of the spine to the top of the head and lock yourself in this posture.

Extend the arms up straight overhead so that the arms are close to the sides of the head. The pals face each other and fingers are straight. This is the inhale position.

Then exhale and bring your straight arms out to the sides, creating a V shape with the arms.

Continue inhaling the arms up and exhaling them out to the sides with a powerful breath.

Continue for 2 to 5 minutes.

Do it as a perfect drill, keeping the spine and arms straight.

** If you don’t have soft and uplifting music from the beginning, it is a good idea to have it for the following two exercises.

7. Meditate

Reap the benefits of your hard work as you dwell in your heart center.

Remain in easy pose. Breathe long and deep and meditate for 2 to 5 minutes.

8. Heart-cross

Lie down on your back, legs still folded and crossed at the ankles.

Cross your hands over your heart.

Relax in this position and breathe long and light for a few minutes.
